LYS241 is a fully humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody with an Fc-silent backbone, designed to neutralize key pathological mechanisms underlying blood-brain barrier (BBB) dysfunction—a central driver of many neurological disorders. When the BBB is compromised, toxic molecules and inflammatory cells can infiltrate the central nervous system, triggering neuroinflammation, excitotoxicity, and ultimately neuronal death.

By restoring BBB integrity and protecting brain tissue, LYS241 addresses both acute and chronic neurological conditions, truly embodying a pipeline-in-a-drug.
