What problems are we solving for a specific customer?
ELNAV.AI is addressing several critical challenges in the maritime industry, particularly focusing on human errors caused by fatigue, stress, and miscommunication. These issues are some of the most significant contributors to maritime accidents, leading to substantial financial losses and, more importantly, risking lives. Below are the primary problems we are solving for our specific customers:
- Fatigue-Related Accidents:
Fatigue is a leading cause of maritime accidents, with approximately 25% of such incidents attributed to drowsiness and related human factors. Current systems, like the Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS), are outdated, and their manual reset features are insufficient to effectively monitor fatigue in real-time.
Aware Mate, one of our key products, tackles this issue by providing real-time AI-based fatigue detection. It monitors facial and eye features using machine learning algorithms like the PERCLOS criterion, ensuring that signs of drowsiness are quickly detected and mitigated. By integrating seamlessly with existing BNWAS systems or operating as a standalone solution, it adds an essential layer of safety.
- Miscommunication on the Bridge:
Miscommunication during navigation, especially during critical moments like docking or maneuvering in congested areas, can lead to catastrophic errors. This problem is exacerbated in stressful situations where clear and accurate communication is essential but can break down due to human factors.
Helm Order Monitor addresses this by implementing Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) technologies. It continuously verifies helm orders against actual rudder movements and monitors the stress levels of the crew in real time, reducing the likelihood of miscommunication and ensuring commands are properly executed even in noisy or stressful conditions.
- Stress-Induced Mistakes:
- Elevated stress levels on the navigational bridge can impair decision-making, particularly in high-pressure situations. Traditional systems do not monitor stress or emotional states, leaving a critical gap in safety management.
ELNAV.AI's Helm Order Monitor incorporates stress detection technologies that monitor bridge personnel’s emotional state. By recognizing patterns of stress and providing timely alerts, the system allows interventions before stress levels become dangerous.
- Outdated Monitoring Systems:
Many ships still rely on outdated monitoring systems that lack real-time data and actionable insights, such as the BNWAS, which requires manual resets and does not provide adequate early warnings of human fatigue or stress.

Specifically, 40% will be directed toward advancing ELNAV.AI’s flagship products, Helm Order Monitor and Aware Mate, with an emphasis on enhancing AI-driven safety features such as fatigue detection and speech recognition. Another 30% will support marketing initiatives, including participation in industry expos, execution of digital marketing campaigns, and establishing strategic partnerships with shipping companies to boost brand visibility. Additionally, 20% will be invested in team expansion. The remaining 10% will cover essential operational expenses, such as office space, legal services, and regulatory compliance. Fundraising Objectives: Our goal is to expedite the development and commercialization of our innovative solutions, establish a strong foothold in the market, and position ELNAV.AI as a global leader in maritime safety technology.
