Aiseemo Sp. z o.o. is a deep-tech spin-off from AGH University of Krakow, Poland, specializing in real-time video analytics powered by artificial intelligence. Our mission is to bring intelligent visual understanding to security, infrastructure, and industrial environments by transforming standard video feeds into actionable insights using cutting-edge AI.

We deliver both SaaS and on-premise solutions tailored to diverse needs in public safety, critical infrastructure, logistics, and smart cities. Our platform enables automatic detection of people, vehicles, license plates, firearms, fire, smoke, PPE violations (e.g., lack of helmet or vest), and even abnormal behavior or emotions in crowded spaces.

Technology and Competitive Advantage
At the core of Aiseemo’s technology is a hybrid architecture combining edge computing (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) with cloud-based deep learning models (e.g., Visual Transformers). This ensures fast response time, scalability, and adaptability to real-world constraints, such as limited connectivity or strict privacy requirements.

Unlike traditional video surveillance or high-cost VMS systems, Aiseemo’s solution is camera-agnostic – it works with any IP camera, including low-cost models, allowing rapid deployment with minimal infrastructure changes. In contrast to competitors who rely on specialized hardware (e.g., Bosch’s fire detection cameras at €7,000+ per unit), we deliver high accuracy at a fraction of the cost.

We operate at TRL 8, with a proprietary video analytics engine developed through public-private R&D partnerships. Our technology is based in part on the results of the NCBR LIDER VI research program, licensed exclusively from AGH University.

Team

Our founding team consists of seasoned AI researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs with a strong academic and industrial background:

• Michał Grega, PhD (CEO) – Former head of the LIDER VI research project; expert in computer vision and AI commercialization; senior researcher at AGH.
• Andrzej Matiolański, PhD (CTO) – Software Architect, specialist in real-time systems and embedded AI, with deep expertise in edge computing and camera integration.
• Djamil Saoudi (CSO) – Strategist and business developer with international experience in scaling AI ventures and public-private partnerships.
• Piotr Guzik, PhD Candidate (Senior ML Engineer) – Expert in deep learning model optimization and robustness in safety-critical applications.

The team includes active researchers from AGH University and the Jagiellonian University, supported by engineers with industrial experience. Members of the team serve as experts for NCBR (Polish National Centre for Research and Development) and the European Commission in evaluating high-tech innovation projects.
