PPNT Seed Capital Fund

PPNT runs Capital Fund, established in 2011 through an ERDF project. The fund has invested over 2 million euro in 19 start-ups in chemical, biotechnology, and IC technologies. So far, 9 exits were completed. The capital regained is used for new investments.

The fund invest in early stage - seed - innovative, new technology projects. The investment is always made in a jointly established new company.

The investments rounds are publically announced once the capital is available. 

Pre-selected companies are offered pre-incubation support in market validation of their projects in collaboration with industrial partners of the Fund. In addition the PPNT experts work together with the founders analysing and perfecting the business and financial assumptions of technological projects, including, among others, analysis of the market, technology, team, intellectual property rights. The business model and development strategy of the project are also refined.

Because of the public source of the fund the investment is made as de minimis aid.
