Modus Africa is an impact focused venture capital fund investing in Africa’s boldest companies powered by AI and blockchain technologies. Such technologies can be catalyzing to overcome Africa’s social, economic, and environmental disparities through their inherent benefits of efficiency, automation, and scalability. The applications of AI and blockchain in Africa are deep and wide, and could positively disrupt the continent by leapfrogging structural constraints that hindered economic growth & development for decades.

We have a pan-African reach, investing across sectors and initially targeting seed startups that embed AI and/or blockchain technologies in solving real problems across Africa and beyond. Part of our investment strategy is to also follow-on in later stage rounds in existing portfolio companies.
