Whoare we?

CARLSON ASI EVIG Alfa Fund was established in partnership with Carlson Ventures International LTD to invest in early stage technology projects targeting R&D with potential for global commercialisation. Carlson ASI EVIG Alfa Focuses on key industries for the modern economy with a emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) in industries such as: FinTech, MedTech, IoT and CleanTech.

OurInvestment Policy

• Strategy: Focus on projects originating from the Polish academic environment and having potential for global commercialisation.
• Project stage and technological readiness: R&D projects in the PoC and PoP stages (TRL: 1-5)
• Investment ticket: the value of a single investment is up to PLN 1.1 million.
• Investment horizon: 4-5 years after the investment
• Sectors: IoT, Fintech, Medtech, Cleantech
•  Formal requirements for projects:
  • 80% of Carlson EVIG Alfa funds must be spent on R&D.
  • The project is innovative and in line with the area of interest.
  • The technological readiness of the project does not exceed TRL5.
  • Company registered and conducting R&D activities in Poland
