Polmedi Sp. z o.o. is a Polish medtech company developing innovative digital solutions for modern healthcare. Our flagship product is iWound – an advanced telemedicine platform supporting wound care, prehabilitation, perioperative and post-discharge care. It enables clinicians and patients to manage the entire treatment process effectively, combining clinical standardization with smart tools for monitoring, communication, and data analysis. iWound follows the full patient journey, from surgical qualification through rehabilitation to home recovery.

The system is already in use in over 6 hospitals in Poland, with plans for international expansion. Integrated with medical wearables (e.g., SiDLY, Warmie) and prepared for full interoperability with national e-health infrastructure (P1 platform for e-referrals, e-prescriptions), iWound directly addresses real-world needs of hospitals, outpatient clinics, and patients.

Polmedi's team includes experienced physicians, engineers, and healthcare managers. The company was co-founded by Marcin Cieślak (IT architect), Prof. Tomasz Banasiewicz (surgeon and wound care expert), Dr. Krzysztof Karać (surgeon and digital health advocate), Piotr Piątek (medical devices expert), and Paweł Cyrson (business strategist and financial manager). Together, they bring a unique blend of clinical, technical, and operational expertise in digital health implementation.

Our mission is to improve the quality of care and health system efficiency through technology. Upcoming development plans include: expanding the sales team, rebuilding the core application to reduce technical debt, integrating fully with the national P1 infrastructure, launching new modules, and scaling internationally (e.g., pilot projects in Germany, France, and Czech Republic).
