Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA)

CTA is a multi-sectorial innovation cluster that was created in 2005 as joint effort of Andalusia regional government (our region) and a group of key companies to boost the regional economy through the application of the “quadruple  hiliks" model of innovation

For the first 14 years, CTA’s main activity was advising, mentoring, and funding (with own funds) innovation projects led by companies with a clear and measurable market application in the short term. 

Currently, CTA is owned by more than 170 companies, 70% of them SMEs, and we excels as a unique organization CTA also acts as a catalyst of collaboration creating partnerships between its members and research groups supporting the creation of joint research projects.

And Regarding the connection with public bodies, CTA is a policy promotion body, providing strategic advice on innovation and technology to governments, from regional to international frameworks. 

And finally but not least, we are partner in almost 60 european projects within the different programs funded by the European Commission and of course Horizon Europe.

Additionally, we are pleasure to be members of different European Association: 

• Bio based industry consortium,
• A.SPIRE that is the European Association which manage the Processes4Planet co-programmed Partnership.
• European regions research and innovation network. irrain
• European cluster collaboration platform.
•  and very important thing, recently CTA has become a member of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative as fellow to contribute to the transition to a circular economy in Andalusia.
