Sedicii

Sedicii Innovations is headquartered in Waterford, Ireland. 

We are creating a network that allows an individual to protect their digital identity by giving them control over who and what uses it.  Using our network, an individual controls their identity by permitting an entity access to it, if they consent, by using an authoritative source such as a Government agency.

In more technical terms, Sedicii is creating a federated global identity verification network which enables real-time identity verification by certified, trusted identity providers (governments, banks, telco’s, utilities and other identity providers), ensuring that businesses can react quickly to new government, regulatory and industry demands for real-time identity verification, authentication and trust services. At the same time, this network is designed to provide the highest possible levels of privacy, removing completely a range of existing risks to personal data. Data is never exchanged or copied. Instead it is always verified using an advanced form of cryptography, known as zero knowledge proofs (ZKP).

We also present a secure multiparty computation service that allows any bank participating in the network to pre-screen, in real-time, all parties to a payment transaction, regardless of the party's bank, for AML risk, that includes many types of common fraud. The service confidentially computes a joint decision tree across the sender and the recipient bank to identify pre-execution risk in real-time.
