Salmoira SL

Salmoira is a food technology startup in the blue economy, whose main objective is the production of new products from fish, seafood, and algae. It has two main lines of business: the first, which applies traditional preservation methods (salting, smoking, pickling, and fermentation) to native fish and seafood; and the second, the development of products from industrial waste and fishing discards. We use food technology to develop new and diverse seafood protein products that are attractive to consumers, safe, and gastronomically satisfying, with a triple objective: affordable, with a positive impact on the environment, and a positive social impact. It has a third, smaller line of business based on a gastronomic tourism strategy, integrating food and land in an exercise in the circular economy.
