ReVision Implant

ReVision Implant is developing the world's first prosthesis that restores useful vision to blind people.

We are using implants with thousands of microelectrodes and advanced stimulation algorithms to directly transmit video to the visual cortex of the brain.

With successful tests in animal models (monkeys and sheep), we are now transitioning to first-in-human trials, backed by two prestigious EIC grants—an EIC Pathfinder and an EIC Transition grant.

Our cortical visual prosthesis restores vision by bypassing the eyes and directly stimulating the brain’s visual cortex. A camera mounted on smart glasses captures the surroundings, processes visual data, and transmits it wirelessly to an implanted microelectrode array. This stimulates neurons to create artificial vision, enabling blind individuals to perceive shapes, motion, and objects. Our technology offers a groundbreaking solution for those with severe vision loss, pushing the boundaries of neuroprosthetic innovation.

Our go-to-market strategy leverages a strong network of key opinion leaders on our board to drive adoption and credibility. Additionally, existing reimbursement codes from earlier visual prostheses provide a pathway for insurance coverage, accelerating market entry and accessibility. By combining strategic partnerships with a proven reimbursement framework, we ensure a scalable and impactful launch for our cortical visual prosthesis.
