Spanish biotechnology company founded in 2013, as a spin off of the Andalusian Public Health System, as a result of the clinical experience accumulated by the research of Dr. Manuel Vicente Salinas Martín, in the search for opportunities to improve cancer treatment. Dr. Salinas' research has validated a new therapeutic target for the treatment of cancer and other high-impact diseases: the NK1 receptor (NK1R).

PlusVitech's most potent solution, PVT-01, is a repositioning of the oral drug Aprepitant, for which there is clinical evidence in patients who have experienced complete remission in different types of cancer. 
PlusVitech has also developed two additional products: Companion Diagnostic Test (CDT), a diagnostic method applicable to tumour and blood samples from patients to determine the characteristics of the cancer in each individual and the expected response to PVT-01 treatment; and Mérope, a self-developed computer system based on Artificial Intelligence algorithms and based on a database generated in the laboratory, in animal experimentation models, as well as the results published in numerous databases of other public trials, and which, as treatments are carried out on patients, will be fed with human clinical data, as a method of continuous improvement.
PlusVitech has 17 international patents that protect the use of the solution and other synergistic drugs, mainly for cancer but also in other health areas within the scope of our research, as well as other innovations, such as the complementary diagnostic test that optimises these treatments for each patient.

The basis of PlusVitech's business model will be channelled through the licensing of patented inventions to pharmaceutical companies. The source of income for Plusvitech will therefore be through royalties derived from such patent exploitation assignment. Previously we expect Upfront plus Regulatory Milestone Payments
