Vivodots™ nanoparticles offer a unique opportunity for achieving better, simpler and effective approaches for real time medical imaging, fluorescence guided surgery, enhanced photodynamic therapy and high precision medicine. The feasibility of several applications has been demonstrated in vitro and in vivo. The company is now looking for investment and partners to spin out from parent company to better exploit this exciting technology.

The Market

The market is significantly broad and is in the $ billions. It can be split into two segments, in vivo and in vitro. NLS is in a distinctive position to take advantage of these segments to be a forerunner in the multibillion $ field of image guided surgery, IVD and photodynamic therapy.

Supported by a strong knowhow and several successful Innovate UK grants, NLS now is capable of producing Vivodots™ nanoparticles of several colours in large quantities and with very high consistency and reliability to meet ISO9001 requirements. Life science related IP is secured by more than 15 patents and patent applications that cover the core technologies of surface coating, 5ALA enhancement, nano-device, and drug delivery systems.
