LignEasy has patented technology for separating lignin from kraft pulp mills. This unlocks a Mt bioresource for the chemical industry. In short term, this is the greatest underutilized bioresource available on the planet.
LignEasy has reached 1 t/d pilot validation of the technology and is shipping comercial samples to end use customers. 5 different end uses have been validated, thus proving several end uses. The broad market de-risks the technology further. The pilot plant was possible thanks to LignEasy securing EIC Accelerator grant funding in 2023.
LignEasy is currently in discussions with pulp mill companies about potential location for a first industrial plant. Simultaneously the company is raising further funding to continue expanding.
