LAT Water Ltd

LAT Water Ltd has developed a low energy, environmentally friendly method for desalination and treatment of contaminated industrial water using low grade waste heat or renewables. We can simultaneously reduce disoved salts and metals, together with organic and ammonia contamination at a cost that is up to 50% lower than existing legacy systems. The design is fully modular and can be scaled from units handling 10 m3/day up to 5,000 m3/day. We have won a series of awards from Innovate UK (the British government's supporter of new technologies), and the UK Department of Energy And Climate Change to develop and prove the technology. The technology has been proven with a full size demonstartor running trouble free for over 2 years. Most recently we have won an award under the "Shanghai - UK Industrial Challenge" to build a zero liquid discharge facility at a Chinese pharma plant. 

We have received first commercial orders from a UK land fill operator to treat leachate at one of their sites in the UK and a Chinese engineering company to construct a facility at a landfill in Northern China.

The technology is protected by a European patent and the confidential underlying thermodynamic model and operating algorithm.
