2GREEN in the Press "RFID im Blick"
Green light for sustainable traffic in downtown Aarhus!
In a detailed interview with “RFID im Blick,” Louise Overgaard described the benefits that the 2GREEN system for cyclists brings to the city of Aarhus. The system provides a bicycle-friendly flow for cyclists, as well as valuable Smart City data, without violating the new EU privacy regulations.
The history of our innovative bike solution in Aarhus is back again, currently in Germany!
''RFID im Blick'' - the German leading magazine for RFID technology, wrote a detailed article about our 2GREEN cycling project.
In the article, Louise Overgaard explains what 2GREEN means for Aarhus and what they, as a Smart City, expect to receive from the system, both in terms of traffic flow on the streets in the city center, as well as in the ways that 2GREEN will contribute to the city's Open Data project.
2GREEN is installed on one of the main and busiest cycling routes in Aarhus, bicycle ring 1.
ID-advice is happy about the attention the project has received. We are now in the process of developing 2GREEN 2.0, in collaboration with an ITS partner.
2GREEN 2.0 is even ‘’greener’’ than the installation currently in Aarhus. Among other things, we are working to provide the system with solar energy, and make the installation more city-friendly in terms of traffic flow on city roads.
ID-advice contributed to the content of the article, with accurate and factual technical data and knowledge of the system's technical architecture.
