Hobud, your backup solution, for you and between you.

20 years ago, I created my first Domestic Server.
From this moment during my spare time, I kept working on evolving the system.
I was keen looking for better sustainability, improving the quality of service, adding more services.
Beside those services improvements, I managed to reduce power consumption of the system.

Also, during this period, as a software engineer in different companies, I looked closely to Clouds build by Google, Microsoft and many others companies.
To be honest, "Clouds" designed by GAFA and many other companies are just Mainframes.

I think that the cloud should have the shape of ... a cloud.
If you take a map, pinpoint the facilities of GAFA, then you have some dots and that's all. (Maps available : Google, Microsoft, Amazon)
Now imagine a structure composed of droplets composed by the owners of the data, you. What would be the shape ? A cloud.

Based on all those knowledge and information, I started thinking about a way to let everyone take advantage of it.

Hobud was born. Your home buddy was imagined.
