About Hardt Hyperloop
Imagine a sustainable connected world where distance does not matter. You have the world at your feet, and you can go wherever you want, whenever you want. Welcome, to the world of hyperloop.
The passenger transport and freight transport demand will triple by 2050, and transport infrastructure investments of more than €100T are required globally to accommodate the growth. For future-proof and resilient transportation, we need infrastructure that is affordable to build and maintain, energy efficient with zero emissions, high capacity, while being competitive in speed with the existing modes.his is hyperloop. A safe, high-speed, zero-emissions transportation system for passengers and cargo consisting of vehicles moving through tubes with a low-pressure environment. Hyperloop offers a shorter travel time than aviation, is more energy-efficient than rail, is cheaper to build and maintain compared to high-speed rail and offers double its capacity. Thereby offering a better value for the large ground transport infrastructure investments that need to be done in the upcoming decades.
Hardt realized EU’s first full-scale hyperloop test facility. In this facility every essential hyperloop technology is proven, including world’s first (patented) hyperloop lane-switch. Furthermore, Hardt performed funded studies in the EU which set the stage for operational hyperloop routes that become part of a continental network. Additionally, Hardt initiated the set-up of the EU hyperloop standard, and all European countries voted in favor of setting the EU hyperloop standard with Dutch leadership.
Hardt has been founded by the winners in Elon Musk’s first hyperloop competition and has grown from 4 FTE to of a team of 35 FTE in three years. Hardt has hired a senior leadership team that brings decades of experience in International Business Development, Engineering, Project Management, Fundraising, Standardization, Marketing & Communications and Project Finance.
