G-Hitech is belgian start-up developing an innovative mesh-grid technology implemented through solar panels and batteries sharing to accelerate sustainable access to energy in rural African communities, improving ROI (Return on Investment) via distribution cost reduction and high modularity. 

Our product boasts a compelling value proposition that resonates with our target customers on multiple levels. It's a powerful solution, capable of delivering substantial power of up to 10kW, which empowers users to run income-generating activities efficiently. It's tradeable, allowing owners of solar panels and batteries to share or sell excess energy within their community, fostering economic opportunities. It’s scalable, enabling users to start small and expand organically in response to increasing energy demands. It’s smart, leveraging satellite connectivity for global predictive maintenance and PAYGO services, elevating convenience, and accessibility. It’s durable, built on optimized principles, our solution combines lean design, space expertise, and high-quality components. This leads to an overall reduction in system costs by reduced cabling and maintenance costs.

G-Hitech's operational hub is situated in Belgium, where we are currently conducting R&D and carrying out manufacturing activities. Additionally, we have successfully implemented our first pilot project in Malawi where we are powering a school and neighboring houses. We are in the process of developing a second pilot project in Cameroon.

Following successful internally-funded R&D and pilot phases, G-Hitech has secured public funding to deploy its technology in 45 energy communities, electrifying schools and SMEs in Malawi. We're seeking €215,000 investment, which could take the form of equity, a loan, or a convertible loan, to fulfill financial guarantee requirements to start the project.
