GENSPEED Biotech GmbH was founded in October 2016 as a spin-off of Greiner Bio-One.
The GENSPEED technology represents the perfect tool for multiplexed Point of Care (POC) Testing. Our patented combination of microfluidics, miniaturised opto-electronics and automation builds the basis of a small, simple and reliable Point of Care test system. GENSPEED® allows the detection of up to 8 different biomarkers in a multiplex assay on-site within only a few minutes and with high sensitivity.
It can be used for nucleic acid-based tests, i.e. genetic tests for the rapid determination of bacteria or viruses, and at the same time allows for protein-based testing with precise quantification of different biomarkers from blood or other specimen.
