Geniouskin

The goal of "Geniouskin" is the worldwide deployment of a novel dermal + epidermal, autologous, reconstructed skin, essential for difficult-to-heal wounds, starting with chronic wounds.

Clinical Benefits of Geniouskin

The fact that Geniouskin uses an off the shelf skin matrix colonized by new dynamic autologous skin cells (fibroblasts) allowing growth and differentiation of autologous keratinocytes and melanocytes is a major improvement compared to existing treatment alternatives.

- Autologous cells are not rejected and cell activity is concentrated on skin closure rather than fighting against immune cells, as allogenic cells do.

- Dynamic new cells produce growth factors which allow chemo-attraction stimulation and multiplication of wound bed cells, angiogenesis and thus more efficiently concentrate cell activity on wound repair.

- The reconstructed skin covers the entire wound bed at once and protects wound from any infection.
