Next generation additives to transform paper industry and replace plastic packaging
Based in Grenoble (France) FunCell has been incorporated in semptember 2020. FunCell valorizes a CNRS patent for which it has a worldwide exlusivity.
The company provides disruptive cellulosic additives bringing to paper and carton (or any other cellulosive materials) two new properties.
1) significant mechanical strength improvement, making carton boxes wet resistant and allowing huge paper pulp saving
2) ability to graft on the treated paper/carton a variety of new molecules giving it new properties (hydrophobic, bacterice, fongicide...)
