E-ETHYLENE

E-ETHYLENE turns captured CO2 from industrial emissions or from air into base chemicals (including but not limited to ethylene) by employing green electricity for the electrolysis of the CO2.

Our electrolysers are based on our patented catalysts and know-how to manufacture electrodes and build MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly), derived from 5+ years of research within the most advanced labs in France; and they achieve best in class performance (energy efficiency, size, current density).

E-ethylene is a drop-in replacement for fossil-based ethylene (C2H4), a vital building block in a vast array of products from plastics to construction and antifreeze solutions. It will play a vital role to decarbonise the petrochemical industry, which currently still relies on fossil hydrocarbons for >99% of its feedstock.

Further, when employed to make durable products (e.g. building or insulation materials), it is an effective carbon well, thus transforming waste emissions in a valuable product.
