Chipiron

Chipiron develops an easy-to-deploy, inexpensive, and performing MRI machine working at a fraction of today's magnetic field. Our goal is to make MRI accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Started in 2021, we are currently a team of 18 engineers (14 PhD) from the most prestigious institutes in the world. We have built two prototypes, making the best images obtained at such a low field.

Some facts:

• We have raised a $2.6M Seed from Exor in December 2022 and have between $2M and $4.5M in pending grants;
• We've brought our headcount from 7 to 18 in the last 12 months;
• The science has been completely de-risked, it’s now a matter of engineering and industrialisation. Obvious signs of early traction.
