Cherrydata is a newco, funded in July 2018 (www.cherry-data.com) and is a spinoff of Politecnico di Milano (Italian school of engineering). We have designed and implemented a data management technology, CherryTable, with outstanding computational efficiency. CherryTable is an on-disk database with sub-millisecond latency even with very large tables. CherryTable can reduce the cost of cloud data management by a factor of 20.
