Calidris Bio

Calidris Bio is a startup company that develops technologies to convert CO2 and renewable energy into Microbial Protein (MP). MP is an alternative protein source for use in feed and food. The fermentative production processes are set up to achieve maximum circularity and a zero-waste biorefinery. The fermentation uses a minimum amount of resources and water. Calidris Bio’s ambition is to have a first production facility up and running in 2025. Calidris Bio is located Belgium.
