Health, wellbeing and quality of life of the individual are the aim of Avanix projects. 

OiX Care is our solution to support the management of patients with dementia by family caregivers. It is the first integrated and automated ecosystem that allows to monitor the patient’s activity and movement and alert their caregiver in case of anomalies. OiX Care stands apart from competing technologies in that it is a wearable that is tolerated by the patient, it works over medium-large distances both indoor and outdoor and it works also in absence of a telephone or network.

OiX Care includes a wearable device with sensors to be attached to the patient, and a receiver that gives the caregiver access to the information collected by sensors and receive alarms. The two devices are connected via a radiofrequency protocol. The system also includes a web/app platform on which the caregiver can access to observe and analyze data.

The system detects the following parameters: Worn / Removed, Movement: Rest, Walking, Up/Down, X/Y direction (Wondering direction), Pedometer, Fall Detection: Impact, fall time, fall position, activity after fall, Temperature and humidity of the environment
