Aquaponics Iberia

Our Aquaponics Module is a self-sustaining hi-tech system we engineered and designed to the highest productivity of fish and produce in limited space urban areas, close to consumers, delivering local, fresh and healthy fish protein and greens using few resources, clean energy, high water savings and less maintenance needs than regular aquaponics. It is totally adapted to climate change, either to mitigate the common consequences of food production (less 20 tons of CO2 emissions per ton of food produced) or to keep producing in adverse climatic conditions. It makes it easy to grow and deliver local, fresh and tasty food with no environmental impact, no use of pesticides, herbicides, medication nor synthetic fertilizers, not harming wild fish stocks and not subject to contamination.

Fish n’ Greens project will place this technology in European cities, combining it locally with a food store, a healthy bistro, a training room and guided tours for local schools and consumers. It is the perfect interface between sustainable food production and urban communities, delivering local healthy fresh food and educating the young about sustainable practices and healthy food habits. The green and transparent approach to people will transmit an increasing trust and loyalty.

We will install the 1st unit in a city and scale it across other European cities, replicating the technology and consumer interface strategies and increasing Europe's food supply chain resilience and self-sufficiency.
