Partnership agreement for upscaling tests of the AFA and SOA processes
ALPHA CLEANTEC operates in the field of environmental technologies and owns the intellectual property rights to super-oxidation technologies, described as SOA and AFA and our new Partner operates, amongst other, in the field of soil decontamination and recycling in Switzerland.
ALPHA CLEANTEC and its Partner wish to collaborate in the field of soil remediation, using ALPHA CLEANTEC's AFA and SOA to economically reduce contamination levels in soil that our Partner acquires as part of projects, so that the contaminated soil after treatment reaches contamination levels with respect to organic materials, hydrocarbons and total organic carbons, below the contamination levels defined for Soil Typ B according to Swiss legislation, pursuant to Annex 5 of the Ordinance on the Avoidance and the Disposal of Waste (Verordnung vom 4. Dezember 2015 über die Vermeidung und die Entsorgung von Abfällen, Abfallverordnung, VVEA, Stand am 1. Januar 2019), and therefore can be disposed of in more cost effective landfill.
As a first step, ALPHA CLEANTEC and its Partner will undertake a pilot test in order to demonstrate the effeciency of the AFA and SOA technologies, already demonstrated at the laboratory scale, in achieving conversion rates on the contaminated soil so that after treatment the contamination levels comply with the Swiss regulation for soi Type B.
In the pursuit to providing a cost-effective, efficient and environment friendly solution for decontamination to the market place, the company ALPHA CLEANTEC remains open for new partnerships in Europe and worldwide.
