AGVOLUTION is focusing on climate-smart solutions for agriculture, horticulture and public green spaces. In Europe, the effects of climate change on plant health in both urban trees and agricultural crops cannot be ignored. At the same time, the current shortages and cost increases require a more efficient use of water, fertilisers and available labour. To this end, the company has developed an AI-supported environmental monitoring system and innovative IoT environmental sensors. This makes it possible to determine the past, current and future effects of local weather on plant health, resource consumption and the profitability of farmland. AGVOLUTION  prioritises the simple and automated use of AI software and hardware in order to overcome the current technological hurdles. For example, users can see how a forecast recommendation is generated or contribute their own experience. This fusion of technology and human experience allows the economic and ecological effects to be analysed and interpreted locally and over time. This makes it possible, for example, to irrigate more efficiently or to adjust fertiliser consumption to the necessary level.
