BionIT Labs develops innovative Medical Devices by applying Information Technologies to Bionics, with the aim of "Turning disabilities into New Possibilities".

The company is composed by 30 highly motivated and competent professionals, including mechanical, electronic, biomedical and IT engineers, finance and business experts.

The first product developed by BionIT Labs is Adam’s Hand, the world’s first fully-adaptive bionic hand: a prosthetic hand based on a game-changing technology which uses only two motosr to move all the fingers (instead of the 5-6 motors generally used by our competitors), making them automatically adapt to the grasped objects shape and size.

This makes the device extremely simple to use, since it requires less visual attention - and therefore less psychological load - for the user to grip an object: the subject then learns to use the device very quickly, and to control it in an extremely intuitive way, also thanks to a calibration interface based on machine learning algorithms, which completes the product making it able to "learn" how the user uses the prosthesis over time.

Using only two motors allows also to obtain a more robust and lighter device with greater autonomy, at a cost of up to 1/2 of our high-end competitors’ devices.

BionIT Labs entered the market in Q2 2023, after 6 years of R&D activities.
