Andaman7

Yay! We just got confirmation of our selection to showcase Andaman7 at one of the biggest health/IT conference in Europe: Health 2.0!

This year's venue will take place in Barcelona (Spain) in May during 3 days and focus on two big thematics: Patient 2.0 and Doctor 2.0.

We will have 4 minutes to demo Andaman7 and show what it can bring to the future of medecine and patients care...that's short but we are always up for a challenge!

HIMSS is an American not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care in quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and access through the best use of information technology and management systems. Well that is mission statement we can rely to!

For the first time, HIMSS co-organized (in partnership with CHU-Liège) a conference in Liège, our hometown.

The main theme of the event was the CCMM model (Continuity of Care Maturity Model) developped by HIMSS and known as a solid model in the field of e-health.

2 days full of interesting conferences and meetups with Europe's medical IT specialists and hospital managers to exchange our ideas about the evolution of health thanks to innovative technologies.

A truly successful event organized by our partner, the University Hospital from Liège by the HIMSS organization. Lots of good insights on many subjects such as:

• Data security
• Interoperability
• The place of the patients in the transformation of medical data management
• ...

RTBF's flagship show "On n'est pas des pigeons" decided to give Andaman7 a try... and the result couldn't be more encouraging:

• Sébastien Nollevaux and Hubert Mestrez proved to be really enthusiastics regarding our app and it's perspective of use for patients. They even went so far as to encourage seniors to purchase a smartphone to be able to efficiently centralize and share their medical information in our app!
• Philippe Kolh, strategic director of the University Hospital from Liège (CHU-Liège) took advantage of the small documentary to look back at the first 6 months of partnership between Andaman7 and the hospital.
• Geaorge Larbuisson, patient comitee director (CHU-Liège) also explains why it's  fundamental to be able to access and manage your own health documents from your smartphone.

"The future of medecine will also, maybe, happen through our smartphones."
