The ECLIPSE team participated in the Procurement in health for uncertain times conference held by PROCURE and Procure4Health in Madrid! 🌟
Antoine Beyssac participated on the panel moderated by Jorge Gonzalez Olalla on the role of communities and networks in strategic procurement. His conversation with Ali Fakih, Silvia Nélida Bossio De Stéfano and Elisa Frenz showcased the collective strength and collaboration in the sector.
But the conference covered a lot more and Antoine and Luisa Lopez had the opportunity to learn more about the topics that animate Innovation Procurement.
𝗢𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭, Diego Moñux Chércoles keynote on the challenges and opportunities in healthcare procurement opened the conference and insights from Katarzyna M. and Ana Isabel Rodríguez Belda deepened our understanding of innovation pathways.
Raquel Ares Morandeira and Carlos Larrañeta Gómez-Caminero fireside conversation highlighted the efficiency in healthcare services through the PROCURE and Procure4Health EU-projects. The presentations on data-driven public procurement led by Camille Serres, Oscar Corcho, and Hamish Laing emphasized the importance of enhancing decision-making and accountability to improve this efficiency in innovation procurement processes. Carlos Larrañeta’s keynote on prioritizing health challenges added a crucial learning point.
𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 continued with key recommendations for the future of innovation and procurement in the health sector. Nick Guldemond, Ana Isabel Peiró Baquedano, Jorge Gonzalez Olalla and Maria Sanchis, PhD gave an overview of Innovation procurement’s obstacle and policy recommendations that were later completed by Reyes Carballar Ruiz, Ph.D., MBA, and the Procure4Health Action Plan by Sonja Müller and Carlos Larrañeta, that provided a clear roadmap for the future.
Day 2 was also an opportunity to discover ongoing experimentations through Juan Pablo Villar García keynote on unlocking innovation in procurement through experimentation spaces, followed by the panel with Carmen González Rodríguez and Guillermo Mas Martínez. The session on transforming public buying, moderated by Lutz Kubitschke, also brought key initiatives and tools to the forefront with Adrián García Romero, Andrés Gilsanz Márquez, Dr. Marlene Wild and Diana Cortés Rodríguez from the PREPLEX, Procure Innovation EU - Training Programme, Innovation Procurement Hubs and InnoHSupport projects.
