This community is powered by WE-RISE project:

WE-RISE main goal is to empower underrepresented female entrepreneurs in Greentech, AgriTech, and Climate Tech, through a strategic blend of funding and tailored support. The project aims to amplify the market presence of high potential women-led startups, particularly from emerging European economies.

The project's pillars are:

  1. Amplifying market presence with targeted funding and investor matchmaking.
  2. Integrating startups into the ecosystem through cross-border acceleration activities.
  3. Providing a holistic growth program.

By prioritizing inclusivity, diversity, and systemic change, WE-RISE aims to enhance the impact and visibility of Green-Women-led startups, contributing to the sustainability of the European innovation ecosystem.

The project brings together a consortium of experienced partners to provide tailored support, including mentorship, cross-border collaboration, and access to €1.2 million in non-equity funding. Through a dual-stage support program, WE-RISE will help 40 women-led startups scale their innovations, connect with investors, and overcome the unique challenges of emerging and moderate innovation regions.

This 2-phase programme includes:

  • Phase 1 (3 months): Focuses on foundational growth with targeted training, workshops, and coaching. Participants receive a €5,000 grant for activities like networking and partnership building.
  • Phase 2 (4 months): Supports the implementation of the Strategic Action Plan from Phase 1. Offers advanced business coaching, investor matchmaking, and stakeholder engagement. Top-performing startups receive an additional €50,000 grant to scale their solutions.
