Air Aware Labs was founded in 2024 with the mission of personalising air quality for everone.

Air pollution is responsible for 8 millions premature deaths globally and costs the global economy at least $3 trillion. Yes solutions to help people reduce their exposure to air pollution are few. Data is overly generalised and doesn't help people protect their health.

We are providing high resolution air pollution data, attached to an individual's GPS and personal characteristics, so they can take decisions to protect their health. Just like personalised nutrition or sleep data, individuals can now understand the air they breathe and how to improve this.

Our app, AirTrack, launched April 2025, provides insights into air pollution hotspots, best and worst times of the day and what this means for your health. We are seeing users change their behaviour on the back of this. It integrates with Strava, Apple Health and Google Health Connect to bring the data to even more people.

We are building our B2B pipeline with fitness, employee wellbeing and low carbon commuting sectors. We have five letters of intent signed and are seeing organisations coming to us to fulfil their needs.

Through this we raise awareness of the benefits of active travel, and a push for pollution reduction policies across the board.

We have had three blogs published with the World Economic Forum, have joined the international Every Breath Counts coalition, giving us access to major corporates such as GSK, Ikea and EY. 

We closed our pre-seed round for £304k in January 2025 and have also raised £25k in grants. So approximately euros 385k raised to date.
