We’re thrilled to announce that the Università Politecnica delle Marche (C2I) is an official partner of AI Lead, a forward-looking Erasmus+ project dedicated to building Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). 

The AI Lead project, coordinated by Mindleap (Spain), brings together a stellar team of international collaborators, including:

💡 On December 11-12, 2024, the project officially took off with a kick-off meeting that set the stage for a dynamic collaboration. Together, we’re paving the way for innovative AI solutions that will help SMEs thrive in a fast-evolving digital economy.

On December 20, 2024, the Marche Region hosted the launch event of the DO-AIR: Data Observatory of the Adriatic and Ionian Region, held at Sala Raffaello in Ancona, Italy.

This landmark initiative, organized in collaboration with the Marche Chamber of Commerce and the Forum of Chambers of Commerce of the Adriatic and Ionian Region (Forum AIC), aims to establish a permanent and structured tool for analyzing socio-economic and infrastructural dynamics in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion.

DO-AIR aligns with the priorities of the EUSAIR Strategy, providing detailed, up-to-date insights into trade, investments, demographics, maritime and airport traffic, and more. With scientific support from the Polytechnic University of Marche and its Research Center on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Observatory is set to strengthen regional and cross-border growth and cooperation.

Event Highlights:

• - Insights on EUSAIR's origins and development by leaders like Francesco Acquaroli, President of Marche Region, and Gino Sabatini, President of Forum AIC.

• - Presentations on DO-AIR’s methodology and its role as a strategic analytical tool by experts such as Michele De Vita, Secretary General of Forum AIC, and Donato Iacobucci, Director at UNIVPM.

• - Keynote addresses from notable figures, including Carlo Ciccioli, Member of the European Parliament, and Fabio Pigliapoco, Head of the Permanent Secretariat of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative.

This event marked the beginning of an important journey toward fostering innovation, internationalization, and sustainable development in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion.
