📢 Event Recap: Launch of the Adriatic-Ionian Region Data Observatory (DO-AIR)

On December 20, 2024, the Marche Region hosted the launch event of the DO-AIR: Data Observatory of the Adriatic and Ionian Region, held at Sala Raffaello in Ancona, Italy.

This landmark initiative, organized in collaboration with the Marche Chamber of Commerce and the Forum of Chambers of Commerce of the Adriatic and Ionian Region (Forum AIC), aims to establish a permanent and structured tool for analyzing socio-economic and infrastructural dynamics in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion.

 

DO-AIR aligns with the priorities of the EUSAIR Strategy, providing detailed, up-to-date insights into trade, investments, demographics, maritime and airport traffic, and more. With scientific support from the Polytechnic University of Marche and its Research Center on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Observatory is set to strengthen regional and cross-border growth and cooperation.

  • - Keynote addresses from notable figures, including Carlo Ciccioli, Member of the European Parliament, and Fabio Pigliapoco, Head of the Permanent Secretariat of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative.

This event marked the beginning of an important journey toward fostering innovation, internationalization, and sustainable development in the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion.
