Diabetis JSC is a pioneering company in the field of algorithmic analysis of infrared thermography medical data. Utilizing a combination of unique algorithms and image analysis collected by a patented thermal device, the company aims to establish standards and become a world leader in home monitoring of chronic inflammatory diseases, preventing painful and debilitating complications for millions of patients worldwide.
The company's experts recognize machine learning algorithms and image detection techniques as ideal tools for analyzing massive amounts of data, identifying the outlines of body parts in images, and noting temperature differences. These tools have allowed the creation of a non-invasive, non-contact method for self-checking potential signs of inflammation, hyperthermia, and other complications.
Diabetis JSC's solutions have the potential to bring the doctor's office to the homes of millions of patients suffering from diabetic foot, arthritis, and other inflammatory complications. These solutions enable smart remote monitoring, empowering patients and optimizing disease management for improved outcomes and resource savings
The first product, Feetsee, designed for the prevention of diabetic foot complications, is FDA registered and scheduled to be launched in the US market in early 2025, followed by subsequent launches in the EU and other global markets.
The second application, ArtiSee, aimed at arthritis patients, is currently in development. The company's technologies have received recognition through several competitive grants from the Lithuanian Agency for Science, Innovation, and Technology. Diabetis JSC has participated in accelerator programs with MassGlobal in Boston in 2019 and 2021, and the BAJ Accelerator online in 2021, winning "The Next Big Idea" contest in Toronto in 2022.
The company is honored to have been awarded 1st place in the Lithuanian American Innovation Award and received the Seal of Excellence from the EU Commission for its first EIC application, Feetsee, in 2022.
