Shifted stores electricity in a novel solution that combines pumped hydro and compressed air to solve the intermittency of wind and solar PV. Our system supplies electricity that is tow times cheaper than Lithium-Ion batteries, can be located anywhere and does not need any critical materials. Our three founders cumulate more than 60 years of relevant experience, from large corporations to a nuclear fusion startup to Harvard research.
