Rhoé Urban Technologies

Rhoé Urban Technologies is a startup that works with large enterprises, research institutes and local and national governments to build optimization software products that bridge carbon-neutral forms of energy with bleeding edge transportation technologies.

Currently, Rhoe is the software lead in Current Direct, an H2020-funded project that aims to develop swappable battery containers for the inland waterway sector, where an Energy-as-a-Service software platform is being developed to optimize profits throughout the inland waterway value chain. Additionally, Rhoe is implementing electric vehicle charging infrastructure location plans for over 35 municipalities around Greece, as part of the national Ministry of Energy and Environment flagship project.

We have worked with partners such as Wartsila, Fraunhofer, CIDETEC, Madrid Politechnic, Comau, Port of Rotterdam, Municipality of Milan, EDP, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Kotug, Lloyd’s register, City University of London and many more.
