HealthControl Niš

HealthControl (HC) is a young start-up company developing interdisciplinary and innovative health solutions. With the support of the Serbian Innovation Fund (Smart Start programme) and in constant cooperation with a hyperbaric medicine specialistic institution in product development and testing, the HC team has developed an innovative smart medical device and associated software for Hyperbaric medicinal treatment monitoring and therapy control. However, this product must still be improved, certified, and registered with the National Agency for Medicines and Medicinal Devices. HC is vigorously seeking new, modern solutions that improve the safety and efficacy of HBOT, but also enable digital education in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, and environmental health, both for patients/users and medical staff. An important focus of HC is to improve knowledge and education in all areas that can improve health and overall well-being with modern digital tools that are close to the younger generations. 

Team
HealthControl's multidisciplinary team spans mechanical engineering, electronics, the IT industry, engineering management, medicine, and pharmacy. 
Co-founder (40% owner) and CEO Ivan Pavlović (professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Niš, and expert in mechanics, automatic control, robotics, AI, and machine learning) leads the development of HealthControl Company's innovative products, oversees sales, and ensures cohesive business operations.
Company co-founder (60% owner) and CMO Dragana Pavlović (Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš, specialising in quality control and application of medicinal plants) is a responsible person for completing documentation and corresponding with regulatory authorities regarding innovative final products and questions related to medicine and pharmacy, a go-to-market enthusiast, sales manager, and public relations coordinator of the HealthControl team.
External expert of HC company, Nikola Vitković (Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, and expert in eLearning, Artificial Intelligence, programming, IT, and Biomedical Engineering) is the responsible person for innovative solutions of the HealthControl company aspect of product intelligence development.
HealthControl's external expert, Milena Rajić (Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, specialising in industrial management), plays an essential role in the market breakthrough and establishment of a sustainable company due to her expertise in the field of market research and business development.

Mission and vision
Our mission is to revolutionize health through innovative solutions. Currently, we are at the forefront of innovation in hyperbaric oxygen treatment. 

On the other hand, one of the main directions that HC is pursuing is the development of innovative e-learning solutions, both for HBOT (as HC's primary research area) and for any other medical field (e.g., health literacy, self-care, pharmaceutical waste management).

VR and XR AI-based technologies could lead to a significant improvement in everyday practices and even the health and digital literacy of a wider audience. XR software and services are being used to enhance the current way of experiencing events, destinations, games, and more.
Different educational applications can be dedicated to institutions (faculties, research institutes, employers, medical equipment manufacturers, …) and interested individuals (students, academic staff, medical professionals, IT experts, patients, …). They offer a total engagement experience and virtual training, improve safety, and minimise costs.
