EMMA - Emergency Clinical Support

EMMA minimizes physicians burnout on Emergency Departments by providing optimized patients' triage and prioritization.EMMA is created by the joint vision of VIDAVO, an established telemedicine company in Europe and the Lab of Medical Physics and Digital Innovation, School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. EMMA is a Clinical Decision Support System that assist Emergency Department personnel to effectively triage incoming patients to the ERs. EMMA is able to offer early notification of health deterioration of incoming patients allowing doctors to work with peace of mind while EMMA watches their backs. Moreover, EMMA allows doctors to focus on one incident per time and creates a decision support mechanism that makes them to feel safe and avoid multitasking. To this end, EMMA minimizes burnout having positive impact on healthcare services and alleviates the respective economic burden.
