Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, LiveDrop is a cybersecurity company with a team of 10 FTE. Our mission is to deliver the most secure offline data transfer technology available. We have developed a unique data transfer protocol that operates offline, unidirectionally, and without the use of radio frequencies or airwaves. Our patented technology leverages displays as sending devices to create data matrices, which are decoded by cameras as receiving devices, enabling data transmission at a speed of 2.4 Mbps. We are continuously innovating and aim to achieve a transfer speed of 6 Mbps by 2027.

Our primary focus is on the Defense and Security sectors, with additional offerings tailored to the (pro)-sumer market. Currently, several Ministries of Defense, Intelligence Agencies, and Law Enforcement divisions are evaluating and testing our technology, with the first recurring contracts anticipated by the end of this year. In the (pro)-sumer market, we have partnered with Intel to integrate our protocol into the broader IT landscape.

In the B2B market, one of our proven use cases is in Healthcare, where hospitals utilize our technology to securely transfer patient data. This solution allows patients to share information with third-party service providers without compromising privacy, addressing a critical need in the industry.

Following the successful closure of our €2M funding round, we are now preparing for our next round in Q1 2026, targeting €5M to fuel our growth and expansion.

LiveDrop was founded by a team of seasoned tech entrepreneurs with successful exits in previous ventures, alongside two experienced PhD physicists with senior roles at Amazon and Philips. Together, we are driven to redefine secure data transfer across industries.
