BIOPIX-T is a dynamic Molecular Diagnostics Start-up founded in 2019, with a mission to offer affordable systems for the point-of-care (POC) to every potential user and a vision to become an international leader in the field of molecular diagnostics. We are a spin off from the prominent Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in Crete/Greece (IMBB-FORTH) and we were founded on very strong scientific basis. Based on an original technology (patent pending) we released a portable molecular diagnostic device together with the first compatible test kits, for COV19 and FLU A. The device is operated via a smart phone or tablet, it is very affordable, fast and accurate and offers advantages which are unmet by the current competition. The company is fully licensed and certified as a Designer and Manufacturer of medical devices (ISO13485) and our products have received the pan-European free sales certificate (CE IVD) and are also being cleared in other countries in Sub Saharan Africa and the Near East. We are currently raising €5Μ in a Series A round, in order to scale-up production, expand our products range and to register the products in other markets including USA (FDA).
