Wild Urban Spaces specialise in the creation of micro forests for urban areas and communities. Micro forests offer an exciting unique solution to today’s many environmental problems by sequestering carbon, increasing biodiversity, engaging the local community and seeding the ancient forests of tomorrow - all in one go! We believe micro (and macro!) forests offer a genuine and authentic alternative to help companies and institutions worldwide have a direct impact on their local environment and communities.

Micro forest funding and creation is personal, authentic and locally beneficial. Often just the size of a tennis court, but containing 600 trees, micro forests are tiny stand alone forests that create incredible biodiversity. As the mini forests are rapid to establish and essentially maintenance free , they can be created in any environment and thrive in urban areas. Our pioneering methods of forest creation, based on the Miyawaki method, are unique and adaptable to any situation from suburban England to arid deserts and can create growth at least 5 - 10x faster than monoculture tree planting while creating a biodiversity haven often 100 times more diverse.
