 SynHERA is a unique umbrella structure promoting research, development, innovation and transfer of the 19 University Colleges of The Federation Brussels - Wallonia. 

 Providing GUIDANCE in engineering and social & human research projects of the University Colleges. Guidance covers matching of partners search, identifying funds, intellectual property awareness-raising, training, contract drafting and contract negotiation, valorization. 

Protecting the outcomes of research programs through INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT. We help identifying and protecting intellectual heritage, clarifying IP rights, preparing and negotiating follow up transfer and licensing agreements. We also engage in awareness-raising and training in all aspects of IP for the scientific community. 

We analyse COMPANIES OR NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS’ REQUESTS assist finding the most competent research centres in the SynHERA network in line with the needs, facilitate meeting and help setting up partnerships.
