Parkinson´s Disease (PD) affects 7 million patients and is expected to double in the next generation. All therapies show fading efficacy and patients mobility changes within 30 min between normal and gait freezing. Current medication adjustment is done by specialized neurologists, based on visual gait inspection and followed by a 3-6 month trial & error based process. Alternatively, expensive hospitalization.

Neurologists need a faster, better & easier process. Patients need a better therapy to stay mobile & avoid freezing.

Our goal is make PD medication adjustment 3x faster, with 50% less gait limitations for patients and 3000 € savings per patient/ year for payor.

In cooperation with Neurologists, patients & AI leaders Portabiles developed world`s first and only solution that automates the complete medication adjustment cycle based on objective 24/7 patient gait data.  Our gait sensor and proprietary medical algorithms are the results of 10 years clinical research.

Clinical proof-of-concept has been shown on more than 3.000 stratified gait analyses.  Pilot customers used the system and published more than 17 peer reviewed publications. A PCT application is pending (US, EU). Our first two products are medical devices and CE marked.
