The Norwegian AI and network company Nornir has from June 10, 2019 been officially pre-qualified as a supplier to Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. The airport aims to handle over 200 million passengers annually and to be equipped with the latest technology and architecture. This is a prestigious project in Dubai with a total budget of NOK 360 billion.
The airport sees great savings in streamlining integration and maintenance when technologies from many vendors are to cross data with different access levels in a secure way. The data flow between the airport's suppliers will be managed using the SYNX technology developed by Nornir.
"We are delighted that the new international airport in Dubai has chosen Nornir as one of the suppliers. SYNX technology has been through a comprehensive validation process in Dubai, between 2 years of workshops and testing. We are very pleased with the process and look forward to deliver exciting projects in collaboration with Dubai Aviation. ”- says Paal Kristian Levang, general manager of Nornir.
