10% of the world’s population is challenged by speech disorders. $30B are spent annually on speech therapy, yet it still is delivered in traditional way. The outcome, not surprisingly, is poor – stuttering therapy (our first indication) demonstrates 84% relapse.
NiNiSpeech standardizes speech therapy, making it as easy as keeping up with your bank account. NiNiSpeech delivers speech therapy to the patients, by combining state-of-the-art therapy with groundbreaking technologies, using automatic measurement & monitoring, continuum of care, smart tele-practice, patient-centric delivery model and evidence-based therapy.
NiNiSpeech taps into an existing treatment and payment flow, charging per therapy appointment, as already reimbursed in most modern countries. NiNiSpeech developed and implements a global standard for therapy, while connecting patients with local speech therapists in each territory. NiNiSpeech receives €1.8 million grant from the European Commission, to help people with speech impediments. The grant, within SME phase 2 instrument, is highly competitive. It is granted to few disruptive businesses every year, demonstrating excellence, groundbreaking technology, socio-economic impact and concise plan. NiNiSpeech will use this grant to bring its solution to the market, and maximize its impact on people’s lives.

Prof. Ofer Amir, our Clinical Director, presented at the annual convention of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Ofer presented our Speech Efficiency Score and its validation. Being the first automated scoring of speech disorders, we attracted a lot of interest.

NiNiSpeech went all the way at the Global Innovation Awards 2016 in Beijing! The competition featured 21 startups from all around the world competing for $1.5 million worth prizes. NiNiSpeech’s innovative solution for treating speech disorders, took the first place!

NiNiSpeech awarded 2nd place in Europe’s eHealth competition in Amsterdam. Judges included executives from EU Horizon2020, leading medical institutes, health insurers, VC funds and healthcare entrepreneurs. NiNiSpeech was commended for addressing challenges in speech therapy with fresh digital approach.
