Students from Sub Saharan Africa are under-represented in the world’s best universities, unlike students from other developing regions. The reason is the lack of affordable international schools offering standardized diploma recognized by leading universities.

Enko Education’s vision is to make quality international schools affordable to primary and secondary learners in Africa, to give them the best chances to get to top universities around the world. We setup and operate schools teaching the International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB), one of the most rigorous and recognized across the world, and preparing our learners to admission to university – our ultimate goal. Our schools offer that IB education at a fifth of the average cost of other schools offering similar curriculum on the continent – extending drastically the population now eligible to such quality education.

In 6-years, we have scaled our model across 9 countries in Africa, with 14 schools enrolling 3,200 students and growing. We have become the largest group of schools in Africa teaching the IB curriculum and are the only education player able to effectively address the middle class with a pan-African reach.

Since our first graduating cohort in 2016, 70% of our graduates have enrolled in top universities such as Yale and Stanford in the US, École Polytechnique and Sciences Po in France, Ashesi University in Ghana and ALU in Rwanda, and many others.
